A Dose of Green Inspiration

St. Patrick’s day has come and gone, that fancy green outfit you picked out is dirty and there are corned beef and cabbage leftover in the fridge. Do you know what else lingers from the holiday? Thoughts of green.

Green, it’s an excellent color that is often associated with growth, freshness, harmony, (our favorite) health, and of course, St. Patrick’s Day. It’s a color that is emotionally empowering and one that can inspire us day in and day out. How so?

Glad you asked!

Growth, renewal, and hope. As we look at nature the color green breathes life into this world from the growing grass to the sprouting seeds. It reminds us to never stop growing. Our lives constantly bring forth circumstances that challenge us to move outside of our comfort zone, stretch ourselves, and expand our horizons. It’s up to us to embrace these challenges, take them head-on and continue to grow and develop. Just as spring calls on dormant trees to grow and express their beauty, the color green calls on you to continually grow through life.

Clean, fresh, and eco-friendly. The color green provides a constant reminder to care for and preserve this beautiful world we live in. It’s up to each and every one of us to limit our waste, recycle our reusable materials, and yes, sometimes clean up other people’s trash. Being kind to the earth provides a positive connection to the environment and your surroundings. This close connection with nature is cleansing. As you think of the color green, let it be a reminder to do your part to preserve the beautiful nature that surrounds you. So, go ahead, pick up some trash, recycle and repurpose materials, plant some trees, grow a garden, and feel good about doing your part to preserve this world for years to come.

Your health, your body, your life. Green is a color of wellness and vitality. Especially when it comes to your daily diet. Loading up on green foods like algae, spinach, kale, avocado, kiwi, and more come with tremendous health benefits. These fresh green foods help support your immune system, boost energy levels, have alkalizing effects on the body, help to detox the body, and are an excellent source of prebiotics. The best part, they are readily available at all times and pair nicely with just about any meal.

So today, we raise a glass of our favorite green juice (with a scoop of organic Wild Microalgae®) and are thankful for the color green and the reminder it brings.
