Algae-Infused Recipes for Autumn

The autumn months are officially upon us, which means it’s time to put up the Halloween decorations, carve a few jack-o-lanterns, and find a few new fall-inspired recipes to try. With that in mind, we’ve taken the liberty to compile a list of our favorite autumn recipes that you can easily infuse with the power of organic Wild Microalgae®

So, without further ado, here are some algae-infused recipes you can try this autumn. 

Algae Power Shot

A simple recipe that is loaded with immune-supporting ingredients. 

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup fresh ginger (peeled and chopped)
  • ¼ cup fresh turmeric (peeled and chopped)
  • ½ cup lemon juice
  • Juice from 1 orange 
  • ¾ teaspoon Wild Algae Blend
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1 pinch of ground cayenne pepper (optional)

Directions:

  • Wash, peel, and chop up the ginger and turmeric and grate or crush them with a garlic press.
  • Squeeze lemon and orange separately, or use readily available fresh juice.
  • Mix all ingredients in a blender.
  • Pour into your glass and then sprinkle black pepper and cayenne pepper (if desired) on top before enjoying!

Chocolate Pumpkin Seed Bites

A simple, delicious, superfood-packed snack that is sure to satisfy your taste buds and give you a boost of energy. 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 ½ cups pumpkin seed flour
  • ¾ teaspoon Wild Algae Blend
  • ¼ cup nut or seed butter
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup maple syrup 
  • ¼ cup mini dark chocolate chips

Directions: 

  • Add ingredients to a large mixing bowl and stir thoroughly to form a dough. 
  • Roll the dough into balls of your preferred size. 
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and enjoy as you please. 

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie 

A blend of superfoods and fall flavors that is perfect for the colder months. 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 frozen banana
  • ½ cup oats
  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A dash of cinnamon (to taste)
  • A dash nutmeg (to taste)
  • ¾ teaspoon Wild Algae Blend

Directions: 

  • Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
  • Pour into your favorite glass and enjoy!
